NYC PRIDE RIDE INFO

Here is all of your important pride information!

What:
NYC Pride Ride

When:
this sunday, June 29th at 11am. The parade kicks off at noon but in order to ride with us you must be present no later than 11:45am.

Where:
we are riding in Section 4, the social/multicultural/neighborhood section.

We are lining up at 56th st between 5th ave and 6th ave. If you are taking the subway you can take the F to 57th st, or the F,V,D to 47-50th st.

Who:
Your group marshall this year is Liz, (tkdliz@gmail.com). If you have any questions the day of/ are lost/ can’t find us in the crowd call her at 516-474-3737. For all inquiries before sunday send all questions here.

We ask for a $5 donation to the group to cover the pride regsitration fees.

Tee-Shirts:

We still have some DOB-C teeshirts available! Teeshirts are $12 for riders and are American Apparel Unisex sizes small-large. If you would like a t-shirt on sunday you must pre-order it. We won’t be carrying extra shirts. You can order a shirt through our paypal account linked on the right hand side of the blog

If you pay for your registration and tee-shirt together you get the special price of $15!

Once you order a shirt please send us an email with the size you would like. The last time to order is saturday night.

If you can’t order through paypal and would still like a shirt on sunday send us an email please!

No bike? No problem!

During the parades we have folks on foot walking with us to help hand out flyers, candy, hold the banner and take pictures. Our walkers are crucial members of our parade! If you interested in joining us on sunday don’t let a lack of a bike deter you!

a huge, gigantic, wonderful, loving THANK YOU

to everyone that made the Brooklyn Pride Parade on Saturday night.

Your dedication to the community astounded me.

From riders, to marchers, to spectators it was a beautiful display of pride and commitment to our community and I can’t thank you enough for being a part of it.

SafeWalk TONIGHT!

Tonight, and every friday night is safewalk, the biking initiative of rightrides.

Volunteers are needed!!

Tonight they are meeting at 10:45 pm at the base of the Williamsburg Bridge,Brooklyn side, north path. It’s on South 4th between Driggs andRoebling. Meet on the bridge, not in the park! The cops don’t likepeople in the park after dark, and no one likes tickets.
