RIDE THIS WEEKEND!
Hey everyone! This Sunday, July 20th, the DOB-C will be getting together for another ride!
You’ve had your few weeks off to cure that Pride hangover and now it’s time to get together for a good cause!
This ride will begin in McCarren Park in Williamsburg and finish in Red Hook.
We’re partnering with RightRides, a free saturday night taxi service for women and trans people. During the ride we’ll be getting to know Brooklyn and spreading word about RightRide’s service throughout the borough.
Come ride with your fellow DOB-C’s!

Hey folks,
a few issues back Curve magazine did a special “Women and Wheels” section and we were surprised to see no mention of our wheels of choice, bicycles!
So we wrote a letter and found it published in the most recent issue!

THANK YOU to all riders, walkers, dykes, lesbians, allies, friends, lovers, roommates and supporters who made Sunday’s ride truly unbelievable.
It was so amazing to re-connect with riders from prides past and even better to meet all the new riders and walkers that came out!
It was a capstone event to a great pride season and I can’t thank everyone enough for making it a day to remember.
Your spirits and energy were high and kept the crowd motivated and excited- even through the thunderstorm!
